I'm still at it, purchasing products from Better Cables, a satisfied customer of for decades. Their interconnects treat my very high end components with the utmost in acoustic respect. Same for the now (it appears) no longer available Blue Truth Reference speaker cable. This being the interconnect and affordability age, Better Cables has what you need. Will miss those speaker cable upgrades though.
The Blue Truth ULTRA AES/EBU XLR Cable is a fantastic sounding cable with impeccable build quality and materials. I don't think spending more on a cable will get you any closer to the soul of the music. A highly recommended addition to anyone's musical enjoyment.
I bought 2 pair of these, one to use for my turntable and one to use for my sacd player. A remarkable improvement in the sound quality of both! Clearer sound, better sound stage!
Excellent customer service and superior quality interconnects. Two sets of 3 ft Silver Serpent Air are used to connect a VPI Classic Signature turntable with a Audio Technica AT-ART9XA cartridge ( 0.2 mV output) to a Manley Labs Oasis phono preamp for a near perfect capacitance (~ 88 pF total). The second set connects to line input on the preamplifier, resulting in outstanding sonic performance.

I have had a longer pair of these for my turntable for a few years and really enjoyed them- but didn’t do any back to back testing. I decided to try my SS air from my TT on my DAC to replace a high-end RCA cable I purchased several years ago - I also had some spare .5M RCA cables from AQ to compare- ultimately, I found the SS AIr the best out of three and purchased a shorter pair for my DAC - Very satisfied with the imaging and deep soundstage.

Made my first purchases back in 2006- and came back for this one that I needed for a center channel.
My old sub cable made the bass sound muddy and unclear. The AIR changed all that. Now I'm not hearing the sub rumble but a clear articulate bass that blends with the rest of the music. Makes the whole listening experience much better. Highly recommended!

I have purchased RCA, XLR, and digital cables from Better Cables. The sound, clarity, and soundstage presence is fantastic. If you invest in an audiophile HiFi sound system, you need to invest in better cables. Yes, you can hear the difference compared to less expensive cable.
